Russia has said it has handed over what it described as drone-related evidence to the United States, as it continues to accuse Ukraine of attempting to target the residence of President Vladimir Putin.

According to Russian officials, the materials allegedly include technical data, flight details, which they claim, link the drone incident to Ukrainian forces. Moscow insists the information was shared with Washington to demonstrate the seriousness of the alleged threat, to seek international acknowledgment of its claims.

Ukraine has repeatedly denied targeting President Putin or his official residences, dismissing such accusations as propaganda. Kyiv maintains that Russia often uses such claims to justify escalations in the conflict or to shift international attention.

The United States has not publicly confirmed receiving or reviewing such evidence, nor has it endorsed Russia’s allegations. Western officials have consistently urged caution over unverified claims coming from either side of the conflict.

The incident comes amid continued tensions between Russia and Ukraine, with both sides trading accusations over drone attacks, missile strikes, and cross-border operations as the war drags on into another year.
