President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday arrived at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos, to join residents and tourists in celebrating the ongoing Eyo Festival.

In keeping with the festival’s tradition, Tinubu was dressed in pure white attire.
He also wore a black Akete hat decorated with white stripes and stars, complemented by a black-and-white cloth draped over his shoulder.
Upon his arrival at the venue, the President was received by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat.
The festival kicked off with colourful processions involving residents, visitors, spectators who thronged the venue.
The Eyo Festival is renowned for its white-clad masquerades, rhythmic chants, energetic dances, all deeply rooted in Yoruba cultural symbolism.
