The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has reserved judgment in nine separate appeals filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The appeals stem from earlier rulings of the Federal High Court, Abuja, which halted the party’s national convention scheduled to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State, in November 2025.
The appellate panel, presided over by Justice Mohammed Danjuma, reserved judgment after counsel to the parties adopted their respective written briefs of argument.
Counsel to the appellants, Chief Chris Uche (SAN), urged the court to allow the appeals and set aside the decisions of the lower court.
On his part, counsel to the 1st to 3rd respondents, Joseph Daudu (SAN), prayed the court to dismiss the appeals for lacking merit.
After listening to the submissions, the court reserved judgment, stated that a date for delivery would be communicated to the parties in due course.
