The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released call-up numbers for prospective corps members under the 2026 Batch A mobilization exercise, marking a significant step in preparations for the forthcoming orientation programme for those in stream 2.
The call-up numbers enable registered prospective corps members to verify their mobilization status through the NYSC official portal. Each number serves as a unique identification code assigned to corps members and is required during orientation camp registration and other documentation processes.
The development follows the completion of online registration and verification stages for eligible graduates across the country. According to mobilization updates, the numbers were generated after the processing of submitted records and registration details.
Prospective corps members are expected to log into their personal dashboards on the NYSC portal to view their call-up numbers. The identification number also appears on the green card and call-up letter, documents that must be printed and presented before reporting to the orientation camps.

The release of the call-up numbers signals the transition to the next phase of the mobilization process, which includes the printing of call-up letters and final preparations for the orientation course.
Mobilization guidelines indicate that prospective corps members will be notified within a scheduled timeframe once their call-up letters become available for printing ahead of the camp opening.
Meanwhile, the NYSC has reiterated that mobilization is often conducted in phases due to the limited capacity of orientation camps nationwide. In previous exercises, some registered candidates were scheduled for subsequent streams after the initial intake reached camp capacity.
The scheme has advised prospective corps members to ensure that all required documents are complete before travelling to camp. It also cautioned against night travel and urged participants to resolve any discrepancies in their records to avoid complications during camp registration.

The release of call-up numbers represents a major milestone for thousands of Nigerian graduates preparing for the mandatory one-year national service. It confirms their mobilization status and moves them closer to the start of their service year.
