The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released deployment details for prospective corps members of the 2026 Batch A Stream I, confirming that call-up letters are now available for printing.

The scheme announced this on Monday via its official X (formerly Twitter) handle, noting that some prospective corps members deployed to Lagos State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will undergo their orientation programmes in neighbouring states due to camp capacity constraints.

According to the NYSC, prospective corps members posted to Lagos State will have their orientation course in Ekiti, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun and Osun States, while some deployed to the FCT will attend orientation camps in Kaduna, Niger and Nasarawa States.

The NYSC disclosed that only about 40 per cent of registered prospective corps members can be accommodated in the orientation camps for the upcoming programme.

The scheme also issued a travel advisory, cautioning prospective corps members against night travel.

The NYSC urged prospective corps members to complete all required documentation before arriving at the camps, stressing that relevant forms must be printed, duly signed ahead of registration.

It warned that prospective corps members with discrepancies in their records would not be registered at the orientation camps, advising affected persons to resolve such issues with their Student Affairs Officers before reporting.

The NYSC also issued guidance for married female prospective corps members, stressing that those not posted to the state of their husband’s domicile, should report to the nearest orientation camp for registration.

For married female PCMs seeking concessional posting on marital grounds, the scheme directed them to upload: Marriage Certificate, Husband’s Means of Identification, and a Letter of Place of Domicile from the Husband.
