Nigeria will face Mozambique in the round of 16 of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on January 5, following the conclusion of the group stage matches.
The Super Eagles booked their place in the knockout round after topping their group, finishing ahead of Tunisia.
Mozambique, who progressed from their group, will now take on the three time African champions in what promises to be a competitive encounter.
Tunisia, who finished second behind Nigeria in the group stage, will face Mali in another round of 16 fixtures as they seek a place in the quarter finals.
The round of 16 matches marked the beginning of the knockout phase of the tournament, where teams will battle for a spot in the last eight as the race for the AFCON 2025 title intensifies.
More fixtures are expected to be confirmed as the tournament progresses.
