The National Examinations Council (NECO) will today, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, release the results of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External.
The development was disclosed in an internal circular signed by NECO’s Acting Director of Information and Public Relations.
According to the circular, the results will be formally released by the Registrar and Chief Executive of NECO, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi.
The notice read in part:
“Result of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External will be released on 3rd February 2026 by the Registrar/Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi. In view of the above, staff are enjoined to assemble at the Conference Hall to witness the event.”
The SSCE External examination is primarily taken by private candidates seeking secondary school certification outside the conventional school system.
NECO conducts the external examination annually to provide opportunities for candidates who missed the internal SSCE or wish to improve their grades for academic or professional advancement.
