The Registrar of National Examinations Council (NECO), Prof. Dantani Wushishi has lost his father, Alhaji Ibrahim Wushishi, a community leader in Wushishi Local Government Area of Niger who died on Saturday.
The announcement was made in a statement in Abuja by the acting Director, Information and Public Relations, National Examinations Council (NECO), Azeez Sani, disclosed the deceased was 106 years old.
According to the statement released on behalf of the NECO Registrar, son of the deceased, he was survived by 12 children, 60 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, among whom is Wushishi.
It added that he had since been buried according to islamic rites.
