The Navy has made known via their Facebook page that on January 1, 2026, Forward Operating Base Ibaka intercepted and arrested six suspected crude oil thieves in Efiat Community, Akwa Ibom State.
The suspects were found in possession of drums containing illegally refined petroleum motor spirit (PMS). The operation is part of the ongoing efforts to combat crude oil theft, protect the nation’s resources.
