NAPTIP RESPONDS TO ONLINE ALLEGATIONS OVER SIMI SEXUAL CASE

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has issued a statement addressing online allegations related to the Simi sexual case. The agency emphasized its commitment to thoroughly investigating all credible reports of child sexual abuse or misconduct.

In a post on its official Facebook page, NAPTIP stated: “We take all reports of child sexual abuse, misconduct seriously, we are committed to investigating every credible claim.”

The agency urged anyone with factual information, evidence, or who has been directly affected to come forward confidentially via direct message on social media, or by emailing info@naptip.gov.ng.

NAPTIP reiterated its dedication to protecting children, ensuring that allegations of abuse are properly investigated under Nigerian law.
