Mcjosnah Group has intensified its humanitarian efforts at the Uyo Correctional Centre with another round engagements with inmates, following its initial visit to the facility on Friday, December 19, 2025.
On Saturday, December 20, 2025, the RismadarVoice team returned to the correctional centre, where over 50 inmates were interviewed, and their cases formally documented for review by the Rismadar legal team, led by Barrister John Archibong.
The initiative is part of the Group’s Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability programme, “RismadarVoice for the Voiceless,” implemented through RismadarVoice Media, a unit of Rismadar Co. Ltd under the Mcjosnah Group.
During the engagements, inmates were interviewed individually, with particular attention given to cases involving minor offences, unpaid fines, prolonged detention, and lack of access to legal representation. Information gathered will guide decisions on legal support, possible release for qualified inmates.
The development follows Friday’s visit by a delegation representing the Chairman of Mcjosnah Group, Pastor Micah Jonah.
The delegation, which included the Group’s Administrative Manager, Mrs. Esther Godfrey, and Barrister John Archibong, met with correctional centre officials, who provided a list of inmates in urgent need of legal assistance.
RismadarVoice Media confirmed that all documented cases will undergo careful legal review, with eligible inmates receiving legal support and financial assistance where necessary.
The programme also include post-release support to help beneficiaries reintegrate into society, rebuild their lives.

RismadarVoice Media stated that it will continue to keep the public informed on the progress of the initiative, describing the effort as part of Mcjosnah Group’s contribution to justice, human dignity, and amplifying the voices of the vulnerable within Nigeria’s correctional system.
