Road Transport Employers’ Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Lagos State Branch, under the leadership of its State Chairman, Alhaji Comrade Samsondeen Ajala Kaosara, has extended warm New Year greetings to Nigerians as the country ushers in the year 2026.
Speaking with journalists at the RTEAN – Lagos State Secretariat in Akesan, Alhaji Kaosara described the New Year as a divine privilege, made possible by the mercy and grace of the Almighty God.
He urged Nigerians to remain prayerful, to always place God first in their daily pursuits, stressing that no meaningful success can be achieved without divine guidance.
The RTEAN Lagos Chairman congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his wife, Oluremi Tinubu, the Senate President, members of the National Assembly, Ministers, other government officials.
He commended President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that members of RTEAN have begun to experience its positive impact.
According to him, the distribution of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles to RTEAN members under the leadership of the National President, Alhaji Musa Muhammed Maitakobi, alongside the gradual reduction in food prices are clear indicators that the nation is making steady progress.
He also praised the Federal Government for its efforts in addressing national security challenges across the country.
Alhaji Kaosara called on Nigerians to remain patient, focused, assuring them that economic and social conditions will continue to improve.
He reaffirmed that RTEAN members nationwide are fully in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term bid.
Turning attention to Lagos State, the Chairman extended New Year greetings to Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu, his Deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, and members of the State Executive Council.
He prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and continued guidance for the state leadership, while assuring that RTEAN Lagos remains steadfast in its support for the state government.
He also conveyed his best wishes to traditional rulers across Lagos State, encouraging them to continue to uphold peace, unity, and dignity within their respective communities.
Addressing members of RTEAN in Lagos State, Alhaji Kaosara expressed profound appreciation to both past and present Executive Council members for their loyalty, cooperation, unwavering support, which he said have contributed immensely to his success as State Chairman.
He further acknowledged the Tricycle Owners and Drivers Association of Lagos (TODA), popularly known as Keke Elese Meta, as well as members of NAMORAL, comprising commercial motorcycle riders, for their continued cooperation and commitment.
The Chairman advised transport operators in the New Year to revere God, remain patient, obey Lagos State traffic regulations, and prioritize the welfare of their families.
In conclusion, Alhaji Kaosara commended the National President of RTEAN, Alhaji Chief Dr Musa Muhammed Maitakobi, for his leadership, guidance, and consistent support to RTEAN Lagos State.

He prayed for God’s continued blessings and protection over his family.
He also extended New Year greetings to his family, his wife, and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, expressing optimism that 2026 will be a year filled with joy, peace, and prosperity for all Nigerians.
