Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has approved the appointment of three new permanent secretaries into the state civil service, including the Chairman of the Katsina State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Tukur Hassan Dan-Ali.
The announcement was made in a statement issued by the Head of the State Civil Service, Falalu Bawale, and made available to journalists in Katsina.
According to the statement, the newly appointed permanent secretaries are Tukur Hassan Dan-Ali from Danmusa Local Government Area, Junaidu Muntari from Kankara Local Government Area, and Yahaya Abdullahi from Safana Local Government Area.
Bawale explained that the appointments were strictly based on merit, following a rigorous examination conducted by the Public Service Institute of Nigeria on behalf of the state government. He said the process reflects the administration’s commitment to professionalism, competence, and integrity in the civil service.
The new permanent secretaries have been urged to align with the governor’s Building Your Future agenda and to justify the confidence reposed in them through diligent and professional service.
The appointments take immediate effect as the state government continues efforts to reposition the civil service for efficient and effective service delivery.
