India’s chief trade negotiator will travel to the United States next week to finalize the trade agreement between New Delhi and Washington, according to Indian Commerce Secretary, Rajesh Agrawal.
India expects the U.S. to reduce tariffs on Indian goods to 18% this week. The visit aims to solidify bilateral trade terms, strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
