The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has reaffirmed the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to strengthening national security through strategic collaboration, as he attended the commissioning of key projects in Ogun State.
The event, which featured the unveiling of security-focused assets, highlighted the importance of enhanced policing infrastructure in safeguarding lives and property across the state.
A major highlight of the occasion was the commissioning of new security vehicles and electric motorbikes aimed at boosting operational efficiency and rapid response capabilities of security agencies. The assets are expected to improve patrol coverage and support ongoing efforts to tackle crime and maintain public order.
Speaking at the event, the IGP commended the Ogun State Government for its proactive stance on security, noting that such initiatives demonstrate a strong commitment to protecting citizens and fostering a safe environment for development.
He emphasized that the Nigeria Police Force remains dedicated to working closely with state governments and other stakeholders to address evolving security challenges nationwide.
“The Force will continue to collaborate with relevant authorities to ensure the safety of lives and property, while supporting national growth and stability,” he said.
