On the tenth day of December, Ibiono Ibom rose at dawn with the colours of its soul, a land where culture breathes, where ancestry walks beside the living, and hospitality flows gently from heart to heart.
The Village Square shimmered beneath the lights of Christmas Unplugged 3.0 as Ibiono Ibom took centre stage, a custodian of heritage, a home of rhythm and memory.
Music curled softly into the evening air. Drums awakened stories.
Flavours from fertile farmlands whispered tales only the earth remembers.
Troupes moved like woven threads: Ibom in quiet majesty, Utuekpe in spirited grace, Abio Akpor and Nka Ima Iban Akpan lifting the pulse of tradition. The Mbok Cultural Group, Akata, Mariam Kids, Ase Ama, and Ibid Ikpaisong Ibiono Ibom painted the stage with colour and pride. Even the youthful voices of the Theatre Arts Department of the Federal College of Education, Ididep added new light to the ancestral drum and ors.
