Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, on Saturday presided over a landmark All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders’ meeting in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area, rallying leaders and party faithful around a renewed call for unity, restructuring, and grassroots engagement.

The meeting, tagged “Home Going,” held at the Nsit Ubium Local Government Secretariat, Ikot Edibon, saw the Governor reiterate the importance of political cohesion and membership revalidation in strengthening the party’s structure across the state.

Governor Eno also reassured the people of the ongoing efforts toward the realization of the long-awaited Ibom Deep Sea Port project, stating that both the State and Federal Governments remain fully committed to its actualisation.

“We will very soon start the Ibom Deep Sea Port,” he said. “It is a long process. Documentation takes time, and the search for credible investors is ongoing. The Federal Government is ready, and we are working the talk. Let our people be patient and rest assured that the project will soon become a delightful reality.”
