Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has reaffirmed his commitment to reducing the state’s housing deficit through strategic partnerships with the Federal Government.
Pastor Eno made the promise while performing the groundbreaking ceremony for Renewed Hope Housing Estate at Ekpene Ukim in Uruan Local Government Area of the State.
The Governor described the initiative as a testament to productive inter-governmental collaboration between Akwa Ibom State and the Federal Government, expressing appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) for selecting Akwa Ibom as the first state to launch the Renewed Hope Housing Project.

He assured the project managers of the state’s full support, including the construction of access roads and provision of adequate security to ensure the project’s smooth and timely completion.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Housing Authority, Hon. Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo, commended Governor Eno for his hospitality and visionary leadership, noting that Akwa Ibom’s conducive environment and peaceful disposition influenced the decision to begin the national project in the State.
Also speaking, Chairman of Uruan Local Government, Surveyor Iniobong Ekpenyong, applauded both President Tinubu and Governor Eno for bringing the Renewed Hope project to Uruan, pledging the Council’s cooperation and security support to ensure successful implementation.


Chairman of the Commissioning Committee and Executive Director, Estate Services of the FHA, Arc. Ezekiel Nya-Etok, lauded Governor Eno for his unwavering commitment to collaboration and for delivering on his promises to the people.
