Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has welcomed former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Uwemedimo Nwoko, SAN, into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Governor conveyed his message in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Ekerete Udoh.
He described Nwoko’s decision as a significant boost to the APC’s support base.
Governor Eno commended the Senior Advocate for what he described as a wholesome decision to align with the ruling party, noting that the move further strengthens the APC’s structure and acceptance in the state.
He expressed appreciation for Nwoko’s declaration of support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and himself.
Governor Eno reaffirmed APC’s commitment towards delivering on its promises, adding that the party remains focused on advancing a renewed hope agenda for the state and the nation.
