Delta State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists on Wednesday announced the death of a member, Vivian Nkechika, of the Delta Broadcasting Service, Asaba.
The announcement was contained in a statement signed by the council’s Chairman, Churchill Oyowe.
The statement did not however disclose the cause of her death.
Nkechika’s demise brought to two the number of such incident among journalists in Delta State within the past one month as the NUJ lost Matthew Ochei of The PUNCH Newspapers in early January while his remains are scheduled for interment on February 19.
