Akwa Ibom State Representative on the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Apostle Abasiandikan Nkono, has urged staff of the State office to remain consistent and dedicated in their work, emphasizing that such virtues not only enhance workplace productivity but also please God.
Apostle Nkono made the remarks while hosting members of the Commission’s fellowship group, commending them for their weekly prayer services.
He noted that their commitment to God and service to the NDDC has contributed to stability and growth in the country, the state, and the Commission.
Apostle Nkono further encouraged the fellowship members to develop entrepreneurial skills to create additional opportunities and benefits, assuring them of a bright future regardless of their current roles or positions.
Director of the Agriculture and Fisheries Directorate in the State office, Mr. Norbert Brown, praised Apostle Nkono for initiating the prayer group and for his passion for the Commission.
He highlighted that the initiative has strengthened the NDDC’s spiritual foundation and urged members to remain committed.

The event also featured the presentation of gifts to deserving and dedicated members of the fellowship.
On behalf of the recipients, the fellowship coordinator, Mr. Simeon Akwa, thanked Apostle Nkono for the gesture and pledged to expand the group with more members in 2026.
