BETTERMENT OF JIGAWA CITIZENS REMAINS MY PRIORITY – GOV. NAMADI

The Jigawa state Governor, Malam Umar Namadi has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment towards providing social infrastructures for the betterment of Jigawa citizens.

Namadi asserted this stance shortly after receiving the delegation team of Taura local government at the government house Dutse.

Namadi, in a statement signed by hie Senior Special Assistant on Media Hajiya Zainab Shu’aibu Rabo, made it available to journalists noted that the administration has provided a lot of social infrastructures in different sectors including health, education, agriculture, empowerment, electrification in all sectors across 27 local government areas in the state.

He said: “I assure you that – provision of social infrastructures is part of our administration’s commitments, we will continue to do so for the betterment of all Jigawa citizens”.

The Governor also appreciated the visit, promised to do more for the betterment of Jigawa citizens; saying, ‘my people’ interest is my concern and priority ‘.

While delivering his speech earlier, the chairman of Taura local government, who led the team thank governor Namadi for providing and reconnecting the local government with electricity after 16 years of darkness.

In his remarks professor lawal, who is the former vice chancellor of Sule lamido University promised to reelect Governor Namadi for second term as a reward for removing them from darkness, boosting economic activities in the area.

Professor lawal stated that as an ‘oliver twist’, the community requests additional more projects, including road construction, other infrastructural projects in Taura.
