All Progressives Congress, APC, has revised its 2026 activity schedule, extending its ongoing membership e-registration exercise to February 8, 2026, while excluding four areas from its forthcoming party congresses.

The APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, disclosed this on Friday in Abuja, saying the decision was taken at the party’s 183rd National Working Committee meeting.

According to him, Rivers State, Osun State, Ekiti State, and the Federal Capital Territory will not participate in the upcoming ward congresses scheduled for February 18. He explained that Rivers State was excluded because off-cycle congresses were held there last year, while Osun, Ekiti and the FCT were exempted due to forthcoming governorship and council elections.

Morka also announced that the APC National Convention, earlier fixed for March 17, will now hold from March 27 to March 28, 2026.

He said the extension of the membership e-registration exercise was approved to allow more members to register, as the party targets over 12 million registered members nationwide.

Also speaking, the APC National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, said the e-registration exercise has been successful, revealing that the party has already crossed seven million registered members and expects to exceed 12.5 million by the February 8 deadline.

The APC urged members nationwide to take advantage of the extension, continue mobilizing prospective members.
