All Progressives Congress (APC), Akwa Ibom State Chapter, has announced a three-day programme tagged “Home Going Weekend,” designed for all political office holders and members across the state.
The event, slated for Friday, November 21 to Sunday, November 23, 2025, aims to deepen grassroots participation and reinforce the party’s visibility in all 31 Local Government Areas.
A major highlight of the initiative is the statewide APC Chapter Meetings, which will hold simultaneously on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the respective LGA Council Halls.
According to the party leadership, the programme will feature strategic activities such as voters registration, party registration, and expanded engagement sessions with key APC stakeholders.
The activities are targeted at mobilizing support, revitalizing the membership base and strengthening internal structures ahead of future political contests.
Speaking on the essence of the event, the State Chairman of the APC, Obong Stephen Ntukekpo, described the “Home Going Weekend” as a reaffirmation of the party’s commitment to reconnecting with its grassroots and fostering unity among members.
He noted that the initiative aligns with the party’s “Renewed Hope” agenda and its broader mission to build a more inclusive, dynamic, and responsive political structure across Akwa Ibom State.
