Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Health has announced the availability of Housemanship positions for qualified medical graduates.
According to a statement signed by the Director of Medical Services, Dr. Celestine C. Akpan, on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, candidates must possess an MBBS or MBBCh degree and hold a provisional registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, (MDCN).
Qualified applicants are required to submit their applications within one week to the Commissioner, Ministry of Health, at the Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat, Uyo.
The initiative is part of the State government’s ongoing effort to strengthen its healthcare system under the ARISE Agenda, ensuring that young medical professionals are integrated into the public health service for practical training and experience.
