Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Health has announced the opening of internship positions for qualified pharmacy graduates in the State.
A public service announcement issued on November 24, 2025, and signed by the Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Pharm. Etim G. Ubam, stated that applicants must possess a B.Pharm or Pharm.D degree as well as provisional registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
According to the Ministry, interested candidates are required to submit their applications within one week of the publication to the Honourable Commissioner for Health at the Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat in Uyo.
The statement noted that the vacancies are part of ongoing efforts by the state government to strengthen the healthcare workforce and improve service delivery across health facilities.
