Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has approved the appointment of Aity Dennis-Inyang as Honorary Special Adviser on Creative Industry, with effect from November 1, 2025.
The appointment was conveyed in a letter signed by the Secretary to State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, who urged the new appointee to abide by the Code of Conduct for Public Officers as prescribed in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended).
Aity Dennis-Inyang is an internationally recognised music artiste and cultural ambassador of Akwa Ibom State, renowned for promoting indigenous languages through her songs.
With a catalogue of more than 4,000 recorded songs, she has also served for over a decade as artiste manager for the State’s annual Christmas Carols Festival.
She brings to the role, more than 30 years of experience across media, music and film.
Mrs. Dennis-Inyang holds a first degree in French, a Master’s degree in Mass Communication, and a Doctorate in Christian Leadership (Honoris Causa).
