The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has congratulated its newly elected State Executives and Chairmen following the successful and peaceful conduct of congresses across the federation.

In a press statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party described the exercise as a clear demonstration of its commitment to internal democracy, transparency, and the rule of law.

The ADC commended party members and stakeholders for their orderly conduct throughout the process, noting that their maturity and discipline underscored a shared commitment to strengthening the party’s democratic culture.

According to the statement, the formal inauguration of the newly elected State Executives has been scheduled for May 12, 2026, with a possibility of adjustment to a later date to be communicated by the National Working Committee.

The party urged the incoming officials to remain dedicated to its vision and guiding principles, while aligning with the leadership direction of the National Chairman, Senator David Mark, in efforts to reposition and expand the party’s influence nationwide.

“The task ahead requires unity, discipline, and a continued commitment to building a strong and credible alternative for the Nigerian people,” the statement noted.

The ADC expressed confidence that the new leadership at the state level would play a vital role in deepening the party’s structures and strengthening its connection with citizens across the country.

The statement concluded by once again congratulating the newly elected officials, wishing them success in their tenure.
