Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor Paul Enenche, has called on Christians in Northern Nigeria to embrace unity as a critical tool for overcoming the region’s persistent challenges.

Enenche made the call during the Northern Christians Stakeholders’ Solemn Assembly held in Abuja.

The programme, themed ” The Blood of the Martyrs: Seed of the Church,” brought together Christian leaders from across Northern Nigeria.

According to participants, the gathering was convened to address the existential threats confronting communities in the North, cutting across religious lines, affecting both Christians and Muslims.

Preaching from the Book of Genesis, Chapter 11, Verse 6, Pastor Enenche described division as one of the greatest tools of destruction, stressing that unity remains the strongest force for survival, progress.

He outlined four key elements necessary for achieving unity: unity of spirit, unity of speech, unity of action, unity of prayer. According to him, these principles are essential for confronting insecurity, other challenges facing the region.

The cleric urged Northern Christians to stand together, speak with one voice and take collective action in addressing the security crisis and social instability in the region.

“Anytime people are divided, they can be destroyed. It is either we hang together or we hang separately,” Enenche said.

He added that when people are united in spirit, they become “irresistible and indestructible,” expressing optimism for a transformed nation.

“I see a new Nigeria, a new Northern Nigeria, where people can move freely, day or night, without fear of being killed,” he said.
