The National Director of Strategic Deployment and Implementation of Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTFN), Shedrach Innocent Egede, has pledged to intensify grassroots mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu, Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general election.
Egede committed Monday’s APC presidential campaign rally in Calabar, Cross River State, where he claimed to have mobilised more than 5,000 supporters.
He described the turnout as an indication of the organisation’s growing grassroots presence and its efforts to strengthen support for the ruling party across the state.
According to Egede, RTFN is working towards a nationwide target of securing more than 10 million votes for Tinubu in the presidential election scheduled for January 16, 2027.
He said the organisation’s mobilisation activities were being coordinated under the leadership of its Chief Founder, Seyi Tinubu, and Director-General, Bala Ahmed.
Egede explained that his team would expand its political engagement across the 196 wards of Cross River State, working through local coordinators and community-level structures.

He said the initiative would involve direct engagement with residents, political stakeholders and grassroots supporters to communicate the APC’s policies and campaign priorities.
The RTFN official maintained that the organisation intended to build a sustained mobilisation network rather than concentrate solely on participation in political rallies.
He also expressed his commitment to supporting Governor Otu and other APC candidates contesting various positions in the forthcoming elections.
Egede said the group’s activities would focus on strengthening political participation and consolidating support for the party across communities.
The Independent National Electoral Commission has scheduled the presidential and National Assembly elections for January 16, 2027, while governorship and state House of Assembly elections will take place on February 6, 2027.
Political parties and campaign organisations have consequently intensified preparations for the polls, including voter engagement, campaign rallies and the establishment of local mobilisation structures.

Although Egede reported mobilising more than 5,000 supporters at the Calabar rally, the attendance figure has not been independently verified.
Similarly, the organisation’s 10-million-vote target represents a campaign objective rather than a confirmed electoral outcome.
Egede reaffirmed his determination to continue working with RTFN coordinators and other APC stakeholders as preparations for the elections progress.
