In furtherance with preparations for
the 2026 Hajj exercise, the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (FCT-MPWB) has fixed 1st of December, 2025 as deadline for the payment of the reversed fare of N7,696,769.76k as released by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
A statement from the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Muhammad Lawal Aliyu stated that Intending Pilgrims who have the intension of performing Hajj through the Board to complete payment before the deadline to book for a seat to be part of the religious journey.
The spokesperson explained that all payment to the Board must be via a bank draft as no cash transaction would be entertained.
He said all payments for the Hajj exercise are to be concluded before the deadline to enable the Board compile the actual list of Intending Pilgrims for the exercise this year and to remit all funds to the NAHCON on scheduled.
He stated that the Board has initiated negotiations with service providers in Saudi Arabia for the provision of Feeding and a befitting accommodation in Makkah during the 2026 Hajj.

According to the statement, the negotiation is in line with the desire of the Board to render the best services to FCT contingent to each Hajj in accordance with the desire of the present Administration.
