Businessman and Senator, Prince Ned Nwoko, has broken his silence following the viral video that showed an altercation involving his wife, Regina Daniels, and her siblings at his residence.

In a lengthy Facebook post on Saturday, the Senator narrated in detail the challenges he has faced in recent months regarding Regina’s alleged substance abuse, the constant interference of her siblings, and the disruption caused by her brother, Sammy Daniels, whom he accused of harassing his household.

“These videos show Sammy, Regina’s brother, repeatedly coming to my home and harassing my children and domestic staff, especially whenever I was not around,” Nwoko wrote. “His visits were often aggressive and disruptive.”

According to him, Sammy was someone he had personally supported sponsoring his university education, buying him musical instruments, renting and furnishing an apartment for him in Abuja, and providing financial support for the entire family.

Nwoko revealed that he has transferred ₦125 million to Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, over the past two years and had also purchased a house in Asaba for the family.

He explained that Regina had been undergoing rehabilitation due to troubling behaviour linked to drug use, but her siblings and friends constantly sabotaged the medical process.

“There was a clear instruction by the doctors to restrict people, especially her enablers, from having access to her,” he said. “Unfortunately, Sammy, Destiny, some of their siblings, and their friends constantly defied those instructions. They brought her the same drugs she was being treated for.”

Nwoko alleged that Sammy and another brother, Lawrence, were the ones who introduced Regina to the substances and supplied them to her. He also mentioned that several of her friends, including Sonia Uche Montana and Cassie, were involved in the habit.

He recounted a series of disturbing incidents, including a 4 a.m. confrontation where Sammy allegedly stormed his home, shouting and demanding that he come out to face him after Nwoko asked Sammy’s girlfriend to leave the house.

“He was ranting and threatening, waking everyone up, including the children,” the post read. “I eventually had to instruct security to push him out of my compound.”

Nwoko also denied allegations that he sent thugs to assault Regina, describing the viral video as a “staged Nollywood scenario” filmed in front of his own house while he was away.

“It is blatantly false to say that I sent thugs to beat Regina in another house,” he wrote. “The video was filmed entirely in front of my house by Regina’s sister and her friend. It was a pure Nollywood act.”

He said the constant interference from Regina’s siblings had turned the home into a tense environment, frustrating all efforts to help her recover.

“Imagine the pain of a husband trying to help his wife recover, only to have the process sabotaged by her siblings and friends,” Nwoko lamented.

Concluding his statement, the Senator urged Sammy to “get a life outside of Regina” and seek rehabilitation, warning that his “violent behaviour will continue” if he refuses help.

The post has since generated massive reactions online, with thousands of Nigerians expressing mixed feelings over the revelations.
