At the ceremony at the Command Headquarters, Ikot Akpan Abia, Uyo, Azare described the event as a moment of “immense joy and fulfillment,” marking yet another milestone in the careers of the decorated officers.

He said promotion in the Nigeria Police Force is a reward for “hard work, discipline, dedication to duty and loyalty to the ideals of our noble profession.”

He charged the officers to regard their elevation as a call to greater service and responsibility.

“As you wear your new ranks, remember that the higher you go, the greater the expectations placed upon you. The citizens of Akwa Ibom State and indeed Nigeria look up to you to uphold the rule of law, protect lives and property, and continue to demonstrate exemplary leadership.” Azare said.

He highlighted improved community policing, intelligence-based operations and collaboration with other security agencies as key strategies driving current successes in crime prevention and law enforcement.
