Alex Ekubo was born on April 10, 1986, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Although born in the South-South region, he hailed from Arochukwu in Abia State.

He attended Federal Government College, Daura, for his secondary education before proceeding to study Law at the University of Calabar.
