Public support for the ongoing war with Iran remains strong in Israel despite continued missile and drone attacks targeting parts of the country, according to recent opinion polls and public reactions.
A survey conducted by the Israel Democracy Institute indicated that about 93 percent of Jewish Israeli respondents support military strikes against Iran, while roughly 74 percent expressed support for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the conflict.
The war began after the United States and Israel launched coordinated strikes on Iran on February 28, triggering retaliatory missile and drone attacks by Tehran. Iranian authorities say the strikes have targeted military and strategic locations across Israel, including sites in Tel Aviv, Haifa and near Ben Gurion Airport.
Israeli officials have disputed several of the claims made by Iran regarding the extent and impact of the attacks. Authorities say at least 11 people have been killed in missile strikes since the conflict began.

Despite the growing tensions and casualties, support for the war effort appears widespread across Israeli political and media circles. However, some activists and opposition figures have raised concerns about the escalating conflict and the climate surrounding dissent.
Anti war activists say criticism of the conflict has become increasingly difficult, with some reporting harassment, arrests and threats during demonstrations.

Political analyst, Ori Goldberg said the current atmosphere reflects a society strongly united behind the war effort, with limited space for opposing views as the conflict continues.
