Nigeria’s Dangote oil refinery has issued fresh tenders to sell gasoil and jet fuel for March loading, according to a trade source familiar with the development.
The source said the refinery is offering up to 44,000 metric tonnes of jet fuel scheduled for loading between March 20 and March 22. It is also offering at least 40,000 metric tonnes of gasoil with a maximum sulphphur content of 50 parts per million for loading from March 15 to March 30.
The facility, owned by Nigerian industrialist Aliko Dangote and operated by Dangote Industries Limited, is located in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos.
The company did not immediately respond to requests for comment as of the time of filing this report.
The issuance of the tenders indicates continued trading activity at the refinery as it ramps up operations and expands its footprint in both domestic and export markets.
